Jung Il Woo, Jung In Sun, And Yoon Hyun Min’s New Weekend Drama Confirms Supporting Cast Lineup

The upcoming drama “Splendid Days” (literal title) has confirmed more cast members!

Starring Jung Il Woo, Jung In Sun, and Yoon Hyun Min, “Splendid Days” is a generational family drama built around the idea that everyone experiences their own glorious days—whether in the present, the past or still to come. The story explores how people encounter and reflect on these meaningful moments in life.

The drama also boasts an impressive lineup of veteran actors. Chun Ho Jin will play Lee Ji Hyuk’s (Jung Il Woo’s) father Lee Sang Chul, while Lee Tae Ran portrays Park Sung Jae’s (Yoon Hyun Min’s) stepmother Go Sung Hee. Ban Hyo Jung takes on the role of Lee Sang Chul’s mother Jo Ok Re.

In addition, Kim Hee Jung plays Sang Chul’s wife Kim Da Jung while Yoon Joo Sang will portray Da Jung’s father Kim Jang Soo.

Park Sung Geun will play Sung Hee’s husband and Sung Jae’s father Park Jin Suk, and Kim Jung Young will appear as Ji Eun Oh’s (Jung In Sun’s) mother Jung Soon Hee.

Young actors Shin Soo Hyun, Son Sang Yeon, and Park Jung Yeon will also be joining the project.

Shin Soo Hyun will take on the role of Sang Chul’s youngest daughter and Ji Hyuk’s younger sister Lee Soo Bin. With her charm, beauty, and sharp personality, Soo Bin seeks to elevate her social standing through a marriage agency—only to be met with harsh realities.

Son Sang Yeon will portray Sang Chul’s second son and Ji Hyuk’s younger brother Lee Ji Wan. Despite his muscular build and pure-hearted nature, Ji Wan struggles financially while holding onto the dream of marrying his longtime girlfriend.

Park Jung Yeon will play Park Sung Jae’s half-sister Park Young Ra. Raised under her mother’s strict discipline, Young Ra grew up reserved and demure. However, her life begins to veer off course after she meets Lee Ji Wan.

The production team commented, “Shin Soo Hyun, Son Sang Hyun, and Park Jung Yeon bring unique energy and charm to the drama. On set, they are among the most passionate and dedicated, contributing to the making of ‘Splendid Days.’”

“Splendid Days” is set to premiere in August as the follow-up to “For Eagle Brothers.” Stay tuned!
